On Monday night, this year’s Heisman finalists were announced. And based on the odds, Colorado’s Travis Hunter is on pace to win the award.

However, with the ceremony just days away, Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty is closing in on the top spot.

Let’s dive into the latest odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Dec. 10.

2024 HEISMAN TROPHY ODDS:

Travis Hunter, Colorado: -2500 (bet $10 to win $10.40 total)
Ashton Jeanty, Boise State: +900 (bet $10 to win $100 total)
Dillon Gabriel, Oregon: +35000 (bet $10 to win $3,510 total)
Cam Ward, Miami: +50000 (bet $10 to win $5,010 total)

FOX Sports National College Football Analyst RJ Young praised Hunter on “All Facts, No Brakes,” saying, “We have never seen anybody do what Travis Hunter is doing presently. Hand that man the Heisman trophy.”

However, Hunter’s odds have gotten slightly longer recently.

Just last week, he was sitting at -10000.

But now that Hunter and the other finalists are heading to New York, his odds have lengthened out to -2500.

Jeanty, on the other hand, has seen his odds shrink.

Before his Broncos defeated UNLV 21-7 in the Mountain West championship game, he was +2500 to win the Heisman.

Now, his odds have moved to +900.

This season, Jeanty has racked up 2,497 yards and 29 touchdowns. He’s averaging 7.3 yards per carry.

Jeanty has also surpassed 1981 Heisman winner Marcus Allen from USC to move into fourth place on the FBS season rushing list. He needs 132 more to pass record-holder Barry Sanders who started at Oklahoma State in the 1980s.

Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel (+35000) and Miami QB Cam Ward (+50000) are long shots to win the award, sitting at third and fourth on the board.
