ensex Today, Nifty 50 | Stock Market Live Updates – Find here all the live updates related to Sensex, Nifty, BSE, NSE, share prices and Indian stock markets for 13th July 2026.

Indian equity markets pared early losses after a sharply lower opening on Monday but remained under pressure as escalating US-Iran tensions drove crude oil prices higher, denting global risk appetite and investor sentiment.

Markets off the day’s low. At 12 noon, Sensex traded 171.96 pts or 0.22% to 77,397.43, and Nifty 50 declined 58.35 pts or 0.24% to 24,148.55.

Nifty IT outperformed, surging over 3%. Nifty Realty and Metal, on the other hand, fell over 1%.

Asian markets mirrored the cautious mood, with Japan’s Nikkei and South Korea’s KOSPI falling sharply amid concerns over rising energy costs and renewed geopolitical uncertainty.

Brent crude climbed above $78 a barrel, raising worries over inflation, India’s import bill and corporate margins. Despite the near-term headwinds, investors will closely monitor the ongoing earnings season, with results so far broadly in line with expectations.

Analysts expect corporate earnings to remain resilient over the medium term, while the recent return of foreign institutional investors as net buyers, strong domestic institutional flows and record SIP inflows are likely to provide support to the market.

Crude oil trends, global developments and earnings will remain the key drivers of today’s trade.

Key indicators for today’s trade

* Gap-down opening: Nifty 50 opened at 24,039, nearly 168 points below Friday’s close of 24,207, reflecting weak global sentiment.

* Current trend: Nifty is trading around 24,050, down about 0.7%, indicating continued selling pressure.

* Market breadth: Advance/Decline ratio at 8:42, signalling broad-based weakness.

* Sectoral trend: Only Nifty Media and Nifty IT are in positive territory; Auto, Metal and Financial Services are the biggest laggards.

* Top gainers: TCS (+1.7%) and ONGC (+1.2%).

* Top losers: InterGlobe Aviation and Tata Steel (both down 2.1%).

* Nifty futures: Trading around 24,100, remaining within the 23,900-24,300 consolidation range.

* Immediate support: 23,900; a break below could trigger a decline towards 23,600.

* Immediate resistance: 24,300; a decisive breakout could lead to 24,570, followed by 24,750.

* Technical outlook: Range-bound with a bearish bias; the broader trend remains inconclusive until a breakout on either side.

* Trading strategy: Stay on the sidelines until Nifty futures decisively moves above 24,300 or below 23,900.

Bitcoin sentiment improves amid ETF inflows and regulatory optimism

“Bitcoin, currently trading around $63,000 to $64,000, is entering the week on firmer footing as improving ETF inflows, easing macro concerns and growing optimism around the evolving regulatory landscape are helping sentiment recover. The market has shown resilience by defending key support levels while attempting to break through important resistance. At the same time, the recent decline in corporate Bitcoin holdings reflects a phase of portfolio recalibration rather than a structural shift in institutional interest. Investors are closely watching upcoming macroeconomic data and regulatory developments, which are likely to influence the next leg of market direction.

For investors, this is a phase that calls for discipline and a long term perspective rather than reacting to short term price swings. Maintaining a staggered investment approach, focusing on quality assets and keeping an eye on macro signals and capital flows can help navigate periods of consolidation. As institutional participation continues to evolve and regulatory clarity gradually improves, investors who stay consistent with their allocation strategy are likely to be better positioned to benefit from the market’s next phase of growth.”

Pre-market analysis from Gaurav Udani, Founder – ThinCredBlu Securities

“Nifty is expected to open higher around 24,070, up nearly 100 points, indicating a positive start despite the sharp correction seen over the last two sessions.

Yesterday also began on a positive note, but the index failed to hold on to its gains as selling pressure emerged through the session. Today’s opening will therefore be important to assess whether buyers can sustain momentum or if the market once again witnesses profit booking at higher levels.

Technically, 23,900–24,000 remains the immediate support zone, while 24,200–24,300 is the key resistance range. A sustained move above resistance could trigger fresh buying and improve short-term sentiment.

Traders should avoid chasing the gap-up opening and instead wait for confirmation that the gains are sustainable. A disciplined, level-based approach remains advisable in the current volatile environment.”

Bitcoin recovery hinges on ETF inflows and US inflation data

Market analysis by Vikram Subburaj, CEO, Giottus.com

    July 13, 2026

Bitcoin has recovered about 6% from its late-June lows to trade near $63,700, helped by a return of positive ETF inflows. Whether that recovery develops into a sustained uptrend will depend on fresh institutional demand and this week’s US macroeconomic data.

Institutional participation has improved, although it remains inconsistent. US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted a net $197.4 million during the July 6-10 trading week after inflows of $265.7 million on July 6 and $90.4 million on July 10 offset combined outflows of about $180 million on July 8 and 9. The return of positive weekly flows is encouraging, but it does not yet represent the kind of broad-based institutional accumulation that typically accompanies a strong bull market.

On-chain data also presents a mixed picture. Analysts’ desks estimate Bitcoin’s True Market Mean at about $76,600 and the short-term holder cost basis near $72,200, leaving the current market price roughly 12-17% below both levels. In simple terms, many investors who bought Bitcoin over the past few months are still sitting on unrealised losses. If Bitcoin continues to recover, some of these investors may choose to sell once prices approach their purchase levels to recover their capital. That could create additional selling pressure around the $72,000-76,000 range before the market can sustain a stronger uptrend.

From a technical perspective, the market remains range-bound. Immediate support is located around $63,000, followed by $62,000 and the psychologically important $60,000 level. On the upside, Bitcoin needs to reclaim $65,000 before traders begin focusing on the $67,000-68,000 zone. A decisive move above those levels would improve market structure, while a break below $62,000 could expose Bitcoin to another test of recent lows.

Ethereum was trading near $1,800, up about 0.1% over the past 24 hours, while BNB gained around 0.4% to $575. XRP underperformed, declining about 1.6% to $1.08, while Solana was broadly unchanged near $76. TRON outperformed its large-cap peers with a gain of about 0.6% to $0.33. The relatively subdued moves across the largest altcoins suggest investors are still favouring established assets over higher-beta tokens, reflecting a cautious rather than risk-on market environment.

The coming week may prove more important than recent price action. The US Consumer Price Index on July 14, Producer Price Index on July 15, Federal Reserve Chair testimony before Congress, and the Federal Reserve meeting on July 28-29 will shape expectations for US interest rates. Crypto markets have become increasingly sensitive to macroeconomic data, with Treasury yields and monetary policy expectations now exerting as much influence as blockchain-specific developments.

The market appears to be transitioning from panic selling towards cautious accumulation rather than entering a fresh bull phase. ETF demand has stabilised, on-chain valuation has become more attractive, and selling pressure has moderated. However, Bitcoin still needs stronger institutional participation and favourable macroeconomic signals before it can convincingly break above the $65,000 resistance zone and establish a more durable recovery.

Our advice: Investors should avoid chasing short-term rallies ahead of this week’s US inflation data and Federal Reserve commentary. With Bitcoin trading between key support near $62,000 and resistance around $65,000, staggered accumulation and disciplined position sizing remain more prudent than aggressive directional bets.

Sanjay Agarwal, Senior Director at CareEdge Ratings on AMFI Data

Equity mutual funds staged a strong comeback in June 2026, with net inflows rising 26% month-on-month to ₹28,973 crore after falling nearly 40% to ₹22,908 crore in May. The recovery underscores the resilience of investor sentiment amid global uncertainties and periodic bouts of market volatility. Positive market sentiment, expectations of supportive domestic macroeconomic conditions, and sustained retail participation continued to drive investment activity during the month. Notably, total equity fund inflows in the first half of CY2026 were more than 12% higher than those in H1CY25, led primarily by robust allocations to mid-cap and small-cap funds.

Precious metal ETFs, particularly gold ETFs, also rebounded attracting inflows of approximately ₹7,500 crore in June compared with outflows of over ₹2,800 crore in the previous month. This trend highlights the increasing acceptance of gold ETFs as a strategic asset allocation and portfolio diversification tool. Hybrid schemes also maintained positive momentum, with inflows rising to ₹12,893 crore in June from ₹10,560 crore in May, reflecting investors’ continued preference for balanced investment solutions amid evolving market conditions.

Debt-oriented mutual funds recorded net outflows of ₹1.09 lakh crore in June 2026. The outflows were largely driven by quarter-end liquidity requirements, prompting institutional investors and corporate treasuries to withdraw funds from ultra-short-duration, liquid, money market, and overnight schemes. More notably, short-duration and corporate bond funds also witnessed redemptions. Meanwhile, the quarter witnessed net inflows of ₹41,888 crore compared to the outflows of ₹1.78 lakh last quarter and inflows of ₹ 2 lakh crore in the same quarter last year. The category in likely to witness inflows in July 2026 similar to that witnessed in July 2025 (~₹ 1 lakh crore).

The mutual fund industry’s assets under management marginally increased sequentially by 0.8% to ₹82.22 lakh crore in June 2026 with open ended schemes continuing to account for over 99% of the industry AuM. This increase comes despite an outflow of Rs 0.53 lakh crore which was lower than the outflows of Rs 0.64 lakh crore witnessed last month. The decline was largely due to a withdrawal of ₹1.09 lakh crore from debt-oriented schemes.

Umiya Buildcon posts steady Q1 growth amid supply chain challenges

Umiya Buildcon Limited (BSE: 532376 | NSE: UMIYA-MRO and formerly MRO-TEK Realty Limited), a publicly listed dual-sector company, today announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting steady operational performance across its products, solutions and real estate businesses despite ongoing global supply chain challenges.

    Real Estate Segment

The Real Estate segment continued to progress in line with planned execution schedules. Development activities at the company’s ongoing projects, including Umiya Bricklane and Umiya Prism, continued during the quarter, with the management focused on timely execution and long-term value creation.

Commenting on the results, Mr. Aniruddha Mehta, Chairman and Managing Director, Umiya Buildcon Limited, said, “Our Q1 performance reflects the strength of our diversified business model and disciplined execution across our businesses. The products business vertical which is our focus area continued to deliver healthy year-on-year growth, while our real estate projects progressed as planned. With a strong order pipeline, continued focus on indigenous innovation and steady project execution, we remain confident of creating sustainable long-term value for our stakeholders.”

    Products Segment

During the quarter, the company delivered steady operational performance across its business segments, supported by disciplined execution, a diversified business model, and continued focus on innovation and customer engagement. Compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, the company recorded encouraging performance across its core business segments.

The global electronics supply chain continues to face significant challenges, particularly in the availability of RAM (Memory) and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) components, due to the reallocation of manufacturing capacity towards cloud services and AI data centres. This has led to component shortages, rising prices, and longer lead times across the commercial electronics industry.

Despite these headwinds, the Products vertical delivered year-on-year growth of 78.83% in Q1, supported by proactive supply chain planning, prudent inventory management, and strong customer engagement.

The Products segment remained the company’s key growth driver, with continued focus on indigenous networking products, solutioning capabilities, and investments in Research & Development across network operating systems, next-generation switching technologies, and data centre networking solutions. Demand from telecom, enterprise, and government customers remained healthy, backed by a strong order pipeline.

Ajay Garg, Director & CEO, SMC Global Securities on AMFI June data

The June AMFI data indicate that retail investor participation remains strong despite intermittent market volatility. Equity mutual funds attracted net inflows of nearly ₹29,000 crore, a meaningful improvement over the previous month, while the industry’s assets under management crossed ₹82 lakh crore and investor folios reached nearly 28 crore. These numbers reflect the growing confidence investors have developed in mutual funds as part of their long-term financial planning.

It is also encouraging to see sustained interest in diversified investment categories. Healthy inflows into mid-cap and flexi-cap funds, along with strong demand for Gold ETFs, suggest that investors are looking beyond short-term market fluctuations and focusing on asset allocation across different segments.

The outflows from debt funds appear to be seasonal and are not uncommon at quarter-end, when institutional investors typically rebalance to meet their short-term liquidity requirements. Overall, the steady growth in AUM and investor folios reinforces the positive long-term outlook for the mutual fund industry, supported by rising retail participation and increasing investor awareness.

    Incoming Events This Week

    * Fed Speaker Circuit (Monday–Wednesday): Multiple FOMC members due on the wires — any deviation from the “higher for longer” script will move USD and rate-sensitive equities hard.

    * Eurozone CPI Flash Estimate (Tuesday): With EUR/USD pinned at 1.1400, a hot print revives ECB hawkishness; a miss accelerates rate-cut pricing and pressures the euro.

    * US ISM Manufacturing PMI (Tuesday): First hard activity read of the month — a sub-50 print deepens recession fears and tests the Dow’s fragile hold above 52,600.

    * Bank of Japan Policy Minutes (Wednesday): USD/JPY at 161.67 keeps pressure on BoJ to act; any hawkish signal in the minutes triggers violent yen short-covering across Asia.

    * OPEC+ Technical Committee Meeting (Wednesday): With Brent hovering at $76.01, any supply-cut revision or member compliance data shifts the entire energy complex.

    * US Non-Farm Payrolls (Friday): The single most market-moving data point of the week — jobs above 200K kills Fed cut hopes; a miss below 150K reprices the entire rate path.

    * G7 Foreign Ministers Meeting (Thursday–Friday): Ukraine aid commitments and potential new Russia sanctions packages will directly impact European energy prices and EUR sentiment.

For the week ahead, the global risk stance is best characterised as cautiously mixed with a defensive tilt. The Nasdaq’s leadership favours a selective long in quality technology names, but position sizing should stay disciplined ahead of NFP. Brent below $77 keeps energy names in a holding pattern; gold between $4,080 and $4,150 offers a range-trade opportunity with asymmetric upside if payrolls disappoint. In currencies, USD/JPY short looks like the highest-conviction macro trade of the week given BoJ pressure building at 161-plus. The global market’s next 72 hours will be defined by one question: does the US labour market give the Fed permission to cut, or does it force another season of waiting?
